This course equips participants with essential knowledge and skills to manage Arterial Leg Ulcer (ALU). It covers pathophysiology, risk factors, clinical signs, diagnostics (including ABPI and foot assessment), and patient education. Participants will learn to develop tailored management plans for effective ALU care.

By the end of the training, the participants will be able to:

  1. Understand the pathophysiology of ALU
  2. Identify underlying causes and risk factors of ALU
  3. Recognise the clinical presentations, signs and symptoms of ALU
  4. Identify the diagnostic tools and test
  5. Perform Ankle-Brachial Pressure Index (ABPI) and Foot Assessment
  6. Devise plan for ALU management
  7. Perform patient/caregiver education

Certificate of Accomplishment in Wound Care Management (Intermediate)

Upon completion of the core module and two elective modules in the roadmap, learners will be awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment (COA) in Wound Care Management (Intermediate).
