This course aims to equip healthcare workers with essential communication skills, focusing on effective verbal and non-verbal techniques, active listening, and overcoming barriers. Learners will understand how to build rapport with patients, families, and healthcare teams, fostering trust and enhancing patient care. Through practical applications, participants will develop the ability to handle communication challenges and apply escalation processes when necessary, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care.

The Community Care worker who assists in the provision of healthcare (nursing and therapy) services in the following Long Term Care setting
Nursing Homes
Senior Care Centres
Active ageing Centres
Day Rehabilitation Centres
Minimum Entry Qualification:
Obtained at least a C6 pass at GCE 'N' levels in any 1 subject OR WPL 4(Reading, Listening, Speaking) and WPL 3(Writing)
