This course aims to provide learners with knowledge and skills to monitor glucose level by performing blood glucose monitoring and measuring the oxygen saturation level.

1. Explain physiology of blood glucose and normal oxygen saturation level.
2. State the normal and abnormal ranges of blood glucose and oxygen saturation level.
3. Identify the purpose of glucose monitoring and measurement of oxygen saturation.
4. Assist in preparation of client, environment and items for the procedures.
5. Provide immediate care for abnormal glucose or oxygen related symptoms and treatment contingencies.
6. Document and escalate potential non-conformance to baselines.
