Community care providers are required to ensure their staff are mask fitted correctly. As part of the MOH PPE Stockpile Programme, community care providers are supported with 3M N95 masks in a pandemic outbreak and as such provides the training for their respective masks. The mask fitter train-the trainer workshops are organised to equip appointed staff to conduct the mask fitting exercise for staff in the community care organisations that are part of the MOH PPE Stockpile Programme. Upon successful completion of the train-the-trainer workshop, the mask fitter will be issued with a certificate which will be valid for 2 year.
You will have to attend this workshop again before your existing certificate expire.
This is a mandatory course for healthcare staff who is appointed as N95 Mask Fitter to conduct the mask fitting exercise for other staff in the community care organisations that are part of the MOH PPE Stockpile Programme.
At the end of the course, learners should be able to:
- Understand details of regulations/laws/policies on respirators
- Identify features and types of N95 respirators
- Perform mask fitting
- Ensure proper respirator use
- Understand fitting instructions
- Understand user seal checks
- Conduct fit testing procedure
Certificate of Competency will be awarded by 3M

Prevailing course fee subsidy at 90% for Singapore Citizens / Permanent Residents and 45% for Work Pass Holders working in eligible community care organisations.
Full fees apply for cancellations after email confirmation unless a valid reason is provided. Replacements are encouraged if withdrawal is necessary.
