Certificate in Community Care is an intensive 12-day programme that provides the aspiring community healthcare worker with a mix of cross-functional nursing and basic therapy skills and knowledge to operate the community health setting.
The curriculum comprises practical training and work-place learning at a healthcare setting for the transfer of learned skills and to validate learning at an actual workplace. The curriculum consists of 6 modules with 12 learning units that provides the fundamental knowledge and skills to perform basic functional skills to work in the community healthcare centres according to the organisational healthcare practices and safety guidelines.
