Description

This course aims to equips the healthcare support worker with the knowledge of assisting with basic activities of daily living retraining.

Course Objectives

At the end of the course, participants should be able to:

  1. Identify the different types of Basic Activities of Daily Living (BADL)
  2. Outline the factors that associated with BADL retraining
  3. Describe the functions and purposes of assistive devices and equipment in assisting client with BADL retraining
  4. Demonstrate the use of assistive devices and equipment in assisting client with BADL retraining
