Description

This course provides a robust introduction to volunteer management framework, principles, and best practices. It aims to develop staff in volunteer management competencies to be effective and professional in job designing, recruiting, managing, motivating and retaining volunteers in their respective volunteer programmes to meet organizational needs.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

  1. Describe the elements of a volunteer management framework
  2. Identify and develop volunteer management best practices for attracting, motivating and retaining volunteers
  3. Work with and manage volunteers professionally to achieve organisational needs
